One major area of living a life in balance is having a right relationship with God, and being at peace with Him. God loves you and He wants you to live in peace with Him and to receive eternal life. When you receive Christ, you are born into God's family. May God bless you as you begin your wonderful new life in Christ. If you do not have a Bible and would like one, please contact me, I would be happy to send one to you.
The Bible says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16
"but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23b
God did not make us robots to mindlessly love and obey Him. Instead He gave us a will and freedom of choice. But, like Adam, we often choose to disobey God and go our own selfish ways. This side of our nature is called sin, and it separates us from God.
The Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God... and the wages of sin is death" Romans 3:23; 6:23
"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2
Jesus is the only answer to this problem of separation from God. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave to pay the penalty for our sin, completely bridging the gap between us and God.
"But God showed His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes on Him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24
We can receive Jesus Christ when we believe in His message and trust in Him alone to save us.
"To Him all the prophets give witness, that through His name whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43
"Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me." John 14:1
"But as many received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." John 1:12
If you want to receive Christ as your savior, first, admit your need and that you are a sinner, then be willing to turn away from your sins and repent. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross for those sins and He rose from the grave. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and be the Lord of your life, receive Him as your savior.
If you are not sure what to pray, a simple prayer is, Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died to pay the penalty for my sin. I want to turn from my sin nature and follow you instead. I invite you to come into my heart and life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
If you sincerely prayed and asked Jesus to come into your life, we have such assurance!
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
"Neither height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:39
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Roman 5:1
"He that has the Son has life and he that has not the Son of God has not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you will know you have eternal life and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:12-13
